As a student on one of our postgraduate distance learning courses, you’ll access your learning through Blackboard Ultra, our eLearning portal. The platform can be used on a number of devices and provides 24/7 access to academic materials and study tools – from online readings and videos to discussion boards and advice and support services.

You’ll also use it to complete regular assessments, tests and quizzes to help monitor your progress.

Plus, despite being based at home, you’ll have access to many of the resources that our students here do, including our research hubs and . And, if you’re near enough to do so, you are always very welcome to visit the University and use our facilities.

2) Our courses are designed to be flexible

Not only can you study whenever and wherever it suits you, our online Masters courses are structured to help you balance your learning with existing work and life commitments. Most are taught over two to four years, depending on the pace you'd like to go, and we've worked to ensure they offer as much flexibility as possible. If you need to take a break in your studies, for whatever reason, we'll work with you to make it possible.
