Bart and Dawn sunset beach wedding at Tween Waters, Captiva, Florida

Dawn and Bart couldn't have picked a better day to get married at Tween Waters Inn on Captiva, Florida. With a light sea breeze, the aquamarine sea and a fantastic sunset the best backdrop anyone could have for a wedding. The bride was radiant in her pearl colored wedding gown carrying a bouquet of white lillies, roses and shells by Jana Telecka. After a short but sweet ceremony on the beach they had a champagne toast before group and family photographs on the beach. Then off to the cocktail hour at the Wakefield room, where they had their first dance and chatted with their friends. Rob from Black Tie Entertainment was a great DJ, and played songs that everyone wanted to dance to even before dinner. Then after a fabulous buffet meal Nautilus Photography whisked the happy couple out onto the beach. There we got the most romantic sunset photographs to show generations to come how in love this couple were on their wedding day. Then as the sun set we went over to the dock where the moon was just rising. Not just any moon, the largest moon of the year, has to be a sign that their honeymoon here at Tween Waters would be very special. Then back to join their guests for some serious fun, dancing bouquet and gater toss. Finishing the evening with cutting their delicious cake and as special treat for their friends they had brought some Key Largo Chocolates with them for party favors. What a geat day! We are so privileged to have been a part of it.

Jen and Jason's Forest Golf & country Club wedding, Ft Myers, Florida

This young couple are so in love and were so ready to be married that the threat of rain did not phase them. Their service was moved indoors and we tooks photographs between the showers. They had thought of everything and the wedding was perfect. Naomi and the staff at The forest Country Club did a great job of setting up the service inside the clubhouse, giving them privacy and plenty of space. The colors for the wedding, white and wisteria purple were carried through the Brides gown and wedding shoes, the bridesmaids dresses and lowers, the decor of the rooms and the fabulous cake from Mason's Bakery. Everyone had a fantasic time at the reception in the dining room with DJ Joshua from Black Tie Entertainment services keeping just the right mix of fun, romantic and dance music througout the evening. The newly weds, Mr & Mrs Kurowski are now on their Caribbean cruise honeymoon. Have a great time and relax, you guys deserve it and we look forward to showing you the rest of your photographs when you get back. Dave & Beth's Heritage Harbor Golf & Country Club Wedding in Tampa

After a rainy start to Saturday the sun came out and Beth and Dave had a perfect evening for their Heritage Harbor Golf and Country Club wedding in Tampa, Florida. Cindy, Beth's mom, ably assisted by Beth's aunt decorated the dining room with flowers and prepared a spectacular fruit table for the guests. Dave and the grooms men dressed and came out to see the preparations, but were quickly shooed back into the locker room so the didn't get to see Beth as she arrived with her dad. Then it was time! The brides maids and her mom helped her dress and with just time for a quick sip of pink champagne they got the news that the guests were seated and the boys were already st the alter. So the brides maides made there way up the hallway and out through the door into the bright sunlight of the afdter noon. Everything was perfect and Dave could hardly contain himself waiting for Beth. When she stepped out through the doors he was so bowled over by her beauty he could just smile and a little tear escaped from the corner of his eye. After a beautiful ceremony we had time for family pictures, bridal party pictures and then when everyone else had gone into the cocktail hour they were finally alone. They just gazed into each others eyes and told each other how happy they were to be finally man and wife. With the sun setting it was time to rejoin their guests for dinner, speeches, a fabulous cake, some dancing and a great reception. The Dj played a good selection of music to dance to, but when the bride sang a song by Lady Ga Ga everyone was overjoyed and Dave was the proudest man in the room. Have a great honeymoon and we'll see you when you get back.

Anthony & Venesia's Gateway Country Club Wedding

Anthony and Venesia were married yesterday afternoon on the thirteenth green at Gateway Golf and Country Club. The setting was perfect and the late afternoon sun shone on Anthony and the guests as they waited for Venesia to arrive. She wore a one shoulder gown with diamond detailing and had taken the precaution of having her make up professionally applied by flawless beauty lounge. Venesia arrived in a golf Cart driven by Sephanie, her wedding planner right on time. her nephew Kevin was firrst down he isle with a sign that said 'here comes he bride' and accompanied by the flowergirl. Everyone could tell when Anthony caught his first glimpse of Venesia by his enormous smile. They couldn't stop gazing into each others eyes during the ceremony performed by Russ Winn. After the ceremony we had time for family photographs befor the were whisked off by golf cart to the cocktail hour and then Mr & Mrs Burdier were alone for the first time, apart for Paul and Hazel from Nautilus Photography and the guys from the Waters Edge Videography. These two are so in love they didn't even notice us, but come sunset it was time to join their guests for dinner, dancing a superb cake from Kakes by Karen and fun. This is just a sneak preview of their wonderful wedding day, we are so glad they asked us to be a part of that special day.

Jim and Michelle get engaged at Ft Myers Beach, Florida

When Jim asked Michelle to go to Ft myers Beach for a few days vacation she just thought how much nicer it is in March than Greensburg, PA. But Jim had another plan, to pop 'the' question. So he called Nautilus Photography and brought Michelle to the beach and then asked her to marry him. Knowing what a wonderful guy he is she instantly said YES. So as soon as the ring went onto her finger Nautilus Photography sprang into action and captured the love between these two great people. The sun set and we said goodnight, a great end to a fantastic start. Next year PA for the wedding? have to wait and see.

Thrills and Spills at The Rodeo in Arcadia

We had a great afternoon yesterday at The Arcadia Rodeo . This was our first ever rodeo and we had a great time! Apart from the excitment in the arena the comentary from 106.9 Bull radio kept us all laughing. There were stalls where you could buy some of the best BBQ food you've ever had, a cowboy hat to impress your friends a tee shirt to show you were there and lots of other things. The horse riding was great, the bull riding was teeeifying and the Budweiser Clydesdales were superb. Here is just a snippet of some of the photographs we took. Richard and Dora's wedding at The Forest Country Club

In the late afternoon sun Dora and Richard were married in the side garden at The Forest Golf and Country Club, Ft Myers, Florida. Dora looked absolutely gorgeous in her couture gown and Richard could hardly contain his emotions as he saw her walking down the isle. They were surrounded and supported by 4 bridesmaids and four groomsmen, her neice as her flower girl and their son as the ring bearer family for the most important day of their lives. After a short ceremony and some family photographs it was time for this loving couple to have some romantic time alone, with just Paul and I photographing their first moments together as man and wife. Then into dinner, dancing and chatting with their family and friends. Richard removed Dora's garter in time honoured tradition with his teeth, tossed it and then Dora tossed her bouquet. Only one thing left to do cut the cake! What a cake! the cake from Cape Cake was magnificent and after cutting the cake there was alot more dancing and hugging family. A wonderful wedding where family played a big role. A special mention to her aunt who put together the bouquets, table arrangements and flowers for the alter. Thank you for having Nautilus Photography become a part of your family, we had a blast and are so looking forward to showing you all the photographs!

Kate and Jason had the most perfect sunset for their wedding on the beach at Casa Ybel on Sanibel Island, Florida. Kate wore a designer gown which she had picked out from a small bridal store in Omaha, Nebraska, Jason wore a sand colored suit and a blue tie. They were joined by their friends and family to witness their vows and celebrate with them at the Thistle Lodge at Casa Ybel. Daniel Stanislawek played the guitar as the guests gathered on the beach and as the bride walked down the isle. The ceremony was performed by Suzi Freeland from Special Florida Weddings. Kate's best friend Michell was her maid of honor and Jason's brother Andrew was his best man. A great way to end 2011 and a fantastic begining to 2012! After a night of rain the clouds melted away to a glorious sunny day just in time for Lindsay and Andy's very special day. As Lindsay and Andy dressed, each wondering what the other was wearing their family and friends gathered at St Francis Xavier Parish, Ft Myers. Andy waited for his bride and then as she approached the front of the church he was awe struck. In a gorgeous gown creadted by For The Bride , everyone gasped as she glided up the isle. As they stood together with Andy everyone could see the love between this special couple. After a warm and personal service they skipped down the aisle. Then off to Marriott Sanibel Harbour Resort for photographs , coctail hour and dinner. Great music was provided by Steve Farst during the meals and for dancing afterwards. Andy and Lindsay were great hosts to everyone who came to their weddding and after cutting their cake, tossing the bouquet and throwing the garter the fun started in ernest. Trista and Corey had the perfect day for the perfect wedding on Ft Myers Beach. With their family and friends looking on they were married under a white arch in front of the Pink Shell Resort & Spa in the afternoon sun. After a cocktail hour where they mingled with their guests they had photographs taked in a fast boat and along the edge of the water at sunset. Then off to the Lido ballroom to join their guests once more for a fabulous meal and some dancing. Then tossing the bouquet and throwing the garter made for a great reception and the party went on into the night. Have a great honey moon see you when you get back. Cindy and James Cape Harbour Wedding

With all their friends and family watching Cindy and James confirmed there love for each other yesterday at The Pavillion in Cape Harbour. They spoke of their love and with a reading by James sister, their long time friend Pastor Morrison performed a touching personal ceremony. Followed by the best reception Cape Harbour has ever seen. The weather was perfect, the sun shone, there was a gentle breeze coming off the river ans not a drop of rain in sight. Emily wore a beautiful purple wedding gown as they exchanged their vows in the Coconut Grove with their family and friends who had flown in from all over America. After a short ceremony,and some family photographs everyone boarded a bus and off to the Riverside Community Center for some great food, a little wine and lots of Dancing. Sergio & Samantha's Sensational Summer Wedding

Sergio and Samatha had a sensational summer wedding on Saturday. The First Congregational Church in Naples was a great setting for their service performed by Rev Les Wicker. Samantha was beautiful in her ornate gown with a long flowing veil and one look at her coming up the isle on her father David's arm confirmed he is the luckiest guy on earth. After the ceremony we headed to The Strand Country Club close by for some pictures, a fabulous meal and lots of dancing to the music provided by DJ Eric from All Request Entertainment. We had a great time and when it was time for Sergio and Samantha to leave we all met outside with sparklers to send them off in style!

Loida & Rob's Pink Shell Wedding

Loida and Rob were so happy to have their family and friends join them on the beach at the Pink Shell. Rob was so handsome standing in the sunshine, but everyone was looking at how beautiful Loida was in her beautiful wedding dress. After Pastor John pronounced them man and wife Loida & Rob's girls joined in the sand ceremony. The happy couple kissed and then walked down the aisle just in time before the rain came down. Everyone headed for the Pink shell where they could congratulate Loida and Rob. After a great meal and a couple of short speeches they danced the evening away.

Kristen & Isaiah's mid-summer wedding, Bloomington, Indiana

We arrived in Indiana late the evening before the wedding and headed for the grooms house. It was dark and every so often we could see 'glitter' in the dark, this was the first time we had ever seen lightning bugs - very pretty! Everyone was there and the rehearsal went well, tomorrow is the Big Day! We were worried about the weather as there was rain forecast. The day started dull and then for no reason gradually brightened, it was as if the skies themselves were smiling down on the gathering the the Eagle Pointe Golf Club at Bloomington, Indiana. Grandparents, parents, brothers and sisters, nieces and nephews all joined in to celebrate Kristen & Isaiah's wedding. There were tears and laughter all day long, what a great day! And when the day was over it was time to say goodbye to all our new friends in Indiana and head back to Florida, but we have a hint we may be back there soon!

Brandon & Nicki's Wisconnsin Church Wedding in Baraboo, Wisconnsin

We were thrilled two years ago when Brandon and Nicki asked us to go to Baraboo, Wisconnsin and take their wedding photographs. When we got there we quickly understood why Nicki,having grown up there, and Brandon having visited over the past few years have decided to move there. The town is small, but very friendly and the surrounding countryside is so pretty. Nicki and Brandon married in the church that Nicki had grown up in. It just held all their family and friends, but was magnificent! Afterwards we went to Devil's Lake with the bridal party for photographs and then on to Wisconnsin Dells for the reception. We arrived before the end of the cocktail hour. After the boys smoked a cigar Nicki and Brandon cut the cake and dinner was served. After a few speeches and a great kissing game the dancing started, stopping only for bouquet and garter. We stayed for brunch the next morning and promised we will return! Thank you Brandon and Nickki for inviting us and thankyou to your families for making our stay so enjoyable!

Will & Becky's English Country Garden Wedding

On Saturday June 4th, 2011 in The Westaway country estate near the village of Naseby in Northampton, England the sun shone, the gardens were manicured, the tent (marquis in England) was erected and decorated, the guests arrived and the music played, Will was standing at the alter with his best man nervously awaiting the arrival of his beautiful bride Becky. Fashionably late, Becky arrived in a 1964 MGB with her dad, Paul, at the wheel. She stepped out of the car looking absolutely stunning in her wedding gown by J Crew. She walked down the isle on her father’s arm with her matron of honour, Sara, her older sister, and her 4 bridesmaids, all school friends, and Lily, soon to be her neice, as flower girl. They followed at just the correct spacing and walked in perfect timing with Becky and her dad. The perfect start to a perfect day! The ceremony over, they were photographed and then dined on best Scottish beef with their guests. After champagne toasts, speeches, cake cutting and bouquet tossing the party started in ernest. They danced late into the night and early into the next morning, stopping briefly to enjoy the magnificent hog roast served as night fell. Tired and happy, everyone eventually left the party having wished the newlyweds all the best for the future. Becky and Will are off to relax and start their married life in Tuscany in Italy! Marissa & Paul get married at Grandezza Country Club, Estero, Florida

Paul and Marissa had planned the most beautiful ceremony outside at The Grandezza, but when it had to be moved inside due to weather, they didn't let that spoil their perfect wedding day. The love that shines between these two people makes everyone around them want to join in their happiness and love. Marissa's dress was beautiful, Paul was so handsome in his tux, the rest of the bridal party were perfect and their flowergirl was a little princess. When the ceremony was over there were speeches, the cake was cut, the bouquet tossed and the garter thrown to a very eager crowd.The reception continued with music and dancing late into the night. Drew & Sam step back in time for their wedding at Edison Ford Winter Estates, Ft Myers, Florida

With the afternoon sun shining down on the Coconut Grove overlooking the Caloosahatchee river, the flowergirl scattered the white rose petals while Drew and the officiant watched for Sam to emerge from the Edison house and walk towards them on her father’s arm. In an antique-styled wedding gown we were all transported back to the summers of the 1890's. Family, friends and estate visitors all stopped to enjoy the breathtaking bride join her betrothed at the alter. After a short ceremony performed by a longtime family friend they marched down the aisle to the cheers and well wishes of their guests. Reception was held in the Royal Palm Yacht Club next to the Edison Ford Winter Estates - a wonderful time was had by all.
