Dawn and Bart couldn't have picked a better day to get married at Tween Waters Inn  on Captiva, Florida.  With a light sea breeze, the aquamarine sea and a fantastic sunset the best backdrop anyone could have for a wedding.  The bride was radiant in her pearl colored wedding gown carrying a bouquet of white lillies, roses and shells by Jana Telecka.  After a short but sweet ceremony on the beach they had a champagne toast before group and family photographs on the beach.  Then off to the cocktail hour at the Wakefield room, where they had their first dance and chatted with their friends.  Rob from Black Tie Entertainment was a great DJ, and played songs that everyone wanted to dance to even before dinner.  Then after a fabulous buffet meal Nautilus Photography whisked the happy couple out onto the beach. There we got the most romantic sunset photographs to show generations to come how in love this couple were on their wedding day.  Then as the sun set we went over to the dock where the moon was just rising.  Not just any moon, the largest moon of the year, has to be a sign that their honeymoon here at Tween Waters would be very special.   Then back to join their guests for some serious fun, dancing bouquet and gater toss.  Finishing the evening with cutting their delicious cake and as special treat for their friends they had brought some Key Largo Chocolates with them for party favors.  What a geat day!  We are so privileged to have been a part of it.

This young couple are so in love and were so ready to be married that the threat of rain did not phase them.  Their service was moved indoors and we tooks photographs between the showers.  They had thought of everything and the wedding was perfect. Naomi and the staff at The forest Country Club did a great job of setting up the service inside the clubhouse, giving them privacy and plenty of space. The colors for the wedding, white and wisteria purple were carried through the Brides gown and wedding shoes, the bridesmaids dresses and lowers, the decor of the rooms and the fabulous cake from Mason's Bakery.  Everyone had a fantasic time at the reception in the dining room with DJ Joshua from Black Tie Entertainment services keeping just the right mix of fun, romantic and dance music througout the evening.  The newly weds,  Mr & Mrs Kurowski are now on their Caribbean cruise honeymoon.  Have a great time and relax, you guys deserve it and we look forward to showing you the rest of your photographs when you get back.  Thank you for having Nautilus photography be a part of this very special occcasion.

After  a rainy start to Saturday the sun came out and Beth and Dave had a perfect evening for their Heritage Harbor Golf and Country Club wedding in Tampa, Florida.  Cindy, Beth's mom, ably assisted by Beth's aunt decorated the dining room with flowers and prepared a spectacular fruit table for the guests.  Dave and the grooms men dressed and came out to see the preparations, but were quickly shooed back into the locker room so the didn't get to see Beth as she arrived with her dad.  Then it was time!  The brides maids and her mom helped her dress and with just time for a quick sip of pink champagne they got the news that the guests were seated and the boys were already st the alter.  So the brides maides made there way up the hallway and out through the door into the bright sunlight of the afdter noon.  Everything was perfect and Dave could hardly contain himself waiting for Beth.  When she stepped out through the doors he was so bowled over by her beauty he could just smile and a little tear escaped from the corner of his eye.  After a beautiful ceremony we had time for family pictures, bridal party pictures and then when everyone else had gone into the cocktail hour they were finally alone.  They just gazed into each others eyes and told each other how happy they were to be finally man and wife.  With the sun setting it was time to rejoin their guests for dinner, speeches, a fabulous cake, some dancing and a great reception.  The Dj played a good selection of music to dance to, but when the bride sang a song by Lady Ga Ga everyone was overjoyed and Dave was the proudest man in the room.  Have a great honeymoon and we'll see you when you get back.

Anthony and Venesia were married yesterday afternoon on the thirteenth green at Gateway Golf and Country Club.  The setting was perfect and the late afternoon sun shone on Anthony and the guests as they waited for Venesia to arrive.  She wore a one shoulder gown with diamond detailing and had taken the precaution of having her make up professionally applied by flawless beauty lounge.   Venesia arrived in a golf Cart driven by Sephanie, her wedding planner right on time.   her nephew Kevin was firrst down he isle with a sign that said 'here comes he bride' and accompanied by the flowergirl.  Everyone could tell when Anthony caught his first glimpse of Venesia by his enormous smile.  They couldn't stop gazing into each others eyes during the ceremony performed by Russ Winn.  After the ceremony we had time for family photographs befor the were whisked off by golf cart to the cocktail hour and then Mr & Mrs Burdier were alone for the first time, apart for Paul and Hazel from Nautilus Photography and the guys from the Waters Edge Videography.  These two are so in love they didn't even notice us, but come sunset it was time to join their guests for dinner, dancing a superb cake from Kakes by Karen and fun.  This is just a sneak preview of their wonderful wedding day, we are so glad they asked us to be a part of that special day.

When Jim asked Michelle to go to Ft myers Beach for a few days vacation she just thought how much nicer it is in March than Greensburg, PA.  But Jim had another plan, to pop 'the' question.  So he called Nautilus Photography and brought Michelle to the beach and then asked her to marry him.  Knowing what a wonderful guy he is she instantly said YES.  So as soon as the ring went onto her finger Nautilus Photography sprang into action and captured the love between these two great people.  The sun set and we said goodnight, a great end to a fantastic start.  Next year PA for the wedding? have to wait and see. 

Last night was the perfect evening for Kristen and Bobby's River District engagement session in Ft Myers, Florida.  We had so much fun finding different places to photograph them.  They are such a great couple they just laugh, talk and kiss all the time.  We are so looking forward to photographing their wedding.  Help them choose the pictures for their guest book by telling them which picture is your favorite.

We had a great afternoon yesterday at The Arcadia Rodeo  .  This was our first ever rodeo and we had a great time! Apart from the excitment in the arena the comentary from 106.9 Bull radio kept us all laughing.  There were stalls where you could buy some of the best BBQ food you've ever had, a cowboy hat to impress your friends a tee shirt to show you were there and lots of other things.  The horse riding was great, the bull riding was teeeifying and the Budweiser Clydesdales were superb.  Here is just a snippet of some of the photographs we took.  Leave us some comments if you would like to see more and if you were there let us know!

In the late afternoon sun Dora and Richard were married in the side garden at The Forest Golf and Country Club, Ft Myers, Florida.  Dora looked absolutely gorgeous in her couture gown and Richard could hardly contain his emotions as he saw her walking down the isle.  They were surrounded and supported by 4 bridesmaids and four groomsmen, her neice as her flower girl and their son as the ring bearer family for the most important day of their lives.  After a short ceremony and some family photographs it was time for this loving couple to have some romantic time alone, with just Paul and I photographing their first moments together as man and wife.  Then into dinner, dancing and chatting with their family and friends.  Richard removed Dora's garter in time honoured tradition with his teeth, tossed it and then Dora tossed her bouquet.  Only one thing left to do cut the cake!  What a cake! the cake from Cape Cake was magnificent and after cutting the cake there was alot more dancing and hugging family.  A wonderful wedding where family played a big role.  A special mention to her aunt who put together the bouquets, table arrangements and flowers for the alter.  Thank you for having Nautilus Photography become a part of your family, we had a blast and are so looking forward to showing you all the photographs!
