You and your family are invited to Northumbria University's Carol Service on Wednesday 8 December 2021.

It will take place at 6pm in Newcastle Cathedral, St Nicholas Square, Newcastle upon Tyne, NE1 1PF.

Northumbria University's Carol Service is an annual event and will include performances from the University and Cathedral Choirs.

The event will be live-streamed to enable the University’s wider community of alumni and friends to take part in the celebration.You can view the service at the time of the event by .

Please note: 

• Northumbria University recognises that COVID-19 remains a serious health risk and we would like to ensure that all of our guests feel safe during the Carol Service. Please be aware that, in line with our current advice for activities, face coverings must be worn throughout the service (unless officially exempt). If you require a mask, please speak to a member of University staff at the entrance. We thank you for your cooperation in this matter.

• All attendees must also complete a negative Lateral Flow Test within 24 hours of the event. Please remember to obtain proof of this by on the gov.uk website,as you may be asked for this on entry to the event. If you have any signs or symptoms of COVID-19 and/or have not received a negative PCR test, we respectfully ask you not to attend the event. 

• Unfortunately, due to the current circumstances regarding COVID-19, we will no longer be hosting festive drinks following the service.

• Bag searches will be in operation on the day. If possible, please try to avoid bringing large bags to the event.
